Physiotherapy Appointments:
Appointments are normally available within 24 hrs
Appointment Times:
Monday – Friday 8.15am – 7.30pm
Saturday 9.00am - 1pm
45 minutes is allowed for each appointment.
Home Visits:
We can visit you at home if you are unable to travel
Health Insurance:
We are recognised by all Private Health Insurance companies, such as BUPA, PPP, Norwich Union, HSA etc. Patients covered by AXA PPP are requested to talk to our receptionist or their therapist regarding payment procedure.
Fees: From 1st July 2007 :
First appointments and insured patients £48.00
Follow-up appointments.
£46.00 (if paid at the time of treatment)
Payment:
Fees are payable at the time of the consultation. We accept cash, cheques and credit/debit cards. For claims through medical insurance, it is advisable to arrange authorisation for treatment before commencing physiotherapy, as payment is ultimately the responsibility of the patient.
Cancellation:
We require 24 hours notice of cancellation or change of an appointment. If you miss an appointment or do not let us know in good time, you will be liable to pay the cost of the booked session.
Referral:
You may be referred by your GP or specialist, but you can come for a consultation and treatment independently. Normally your physiotherapist would like to keep in touch with your doctor, so that he/she has a record of your progress.
First Appointment:
We will listen carefully to you, and you will be given a detailed assessment and examination to establish the nature and cause of your problem. Your Physiotherapist will plan a treatment programme with you, which will start immediately.
